Rainworth Welfare...
MCW came to Rainworth, with the unresolved issues from the last show throwing salt on some still raw wounds. Weddow Won Chow had asked the ticket sellers at MCW to give out leaflets requesting information on the whereabouts of Wrestle Bear. Wrestle Bear's location was discovered and was brought to the show, however he was still in the possession of Shaun Sykes and Marcus Black. Continuing their run as "tag team champions" Knightmare and Tommy dean lost to Hooligan and Alex Kingston however, after the show, I caught up with Tommy, and yet again he still claims they're champions. In a short match, Orion defeated Brad Payne, due to a questionable refereeing decision. In the main event, Freddie Nova faced Psycho and after an eccentric promo involving a chicken, Freddie fought well, even seeing off Psycho's stable mates Tommy Dean and Knightmare, however, a title belt to the head put an end to Freddie's fight.
Festival Hall...
MCW came home to an always jumping Festival Hall, giving the home crowd a show to remember. Tommy Dean, Knightmare and Psycho formed an alliance, creating a bang by announcing themselves to be the MCW tag team champions. But the fact that they were beaten by Mr Farenheight and Leo Lavi, hasn't put them off, announcing that they were still champions after the match. Another developing team that night was the alliance between Shaun Sykes and Marcus Black. The evil pair stole Wrestle Bear from Weddow Won Chow, the shock of which caused Weddow and Jay Austin to lose the match.
Rushcliffe Arena...
MCW debuted in yet another new venue to yet another electric crown in West Bridgford! The fans were treated to a seven-man ladder match, including the return of Alex Kingston, a huge sunset flip from the top of the ladder and a double tope from the heroes tag team was sure to see them win. But it was in fact Psycho who won the hard fought match, rushing up the ladder and snatching the title shot it awarded him. Other matches included, Brad Payne facing Orion in the nights title bout, Knightmare vs Adam Antine vs new star Marcus Black and more.
The Arkwright Centre...
MCW debuted in Chesterfield to a barnstormer of a show, selling out the Arkwright Centre, leaving only standing room! The main event featured a heated match with MCW's champion, Brad Payne against Shaun Sykes. Other matches included Knightmare descimating Sir Tarquin in a one sided affair. The heroes being pitted against each other in a reluctant match thought up by the sick mind of The Guvnor, and The Guvnor himself facing Orion.
The Wyvern, Hardcore Havoc...
At the Wyvern Club this past Saturday, MCW had another foray into the extreme culminating in a bloody death match between Orion and The Guvnor. On the line in this match was an MCW title shot for Orion, however the Guvnor defeated him. The team of Flower Power (Freddie Nova and Joey Atlas) narrowly lost a thrilling TLC plus Bins match to the Heros (Leo Lavi and Kid Phoenix). The rivalry between Shaun Sykes and Psychowannagocrazy stepped up another notch with Sean's baseball bat coming into play.
SLAM, Beeston...
In a shocking turn of events Brad Payne became MCW Champion, defeating Knightmare by reversing a choke slam into a crushing sleeper hold making the moster pass out and winning him the match. Other highlights include, Flower Power against Brandy and Dagara. Along with Shaun Sykes' hard fought match with Psychowannagocrazy.
